What we treat

Six reasons people come in

Most patients arrive with pain, a scan, or a surgeon's referral. The starting point is the same either way: work out what the tissue is actually doing, then load it correctly.

  • Back & neck pain

Disc-related pain, sciatica, stiffness, and the muscular guarding that builds up around it.

  • Post-operative rehab

Structured recovery after orthopaedic surgery — ACL, rotator cuff, joint replacement, fracture fixation.

  • Sports injuries

Sprains, strains, and tendinopathy, worked through to a real return-to-play standard rather than an absence of pain.

  • Joints & mobility

Manual therapy and mobilisation for restricted shoulders, knees, hips, and ankles, including arthritic joints.

  • Posture & ergonomics

Desk-driven neck and shoulder pain, scoliosis follow-up, and retraining the way you sit, lift, and stand.

  • Wellness & prevention

Conditioning for people who keep getting hurt — strength work that keeps the problem from coming back.

Training & wellness

Not everyone arrives injured

The clinic also runs the work that comes after recovery — or instead of it. Same room, same assessment first.

  • Slimming & body contouring

Device-led sessions — cavitation, radiofrequency, lymphatic drainage — paired with supervised training and nutrition follow-up.

  • Personal training

One-to-one and small-group conditioning with the clinic's trainers, programmed around what your body can currently take.

  • Martial arts

Black Core runs its classes at the clinic, with physiotherapy and conditioning support built into the training.

Your session

Three steps, in this order

Nothing gets treated before it's been assessed, and nothing gets prescribed that you can't do at home on a Tuesday night.

  1. 01

    Assess

A full history and physical examination — how you move, what provokes the pain, what your scan does and doesn't explain. You leave the first session knowing what's wrong.

  2. 02

    Treat

Hands-on manual therapy, mobilisation, and guided exercise, adjusted session by session against how the tissue responds.

  3. 03

    Maintain

A short home programme and a clear discharge point. The goal is to stop needing the clinic, not to keep booking it.

About

One physiotherapist, start to finish

You are treated by Dr. Sleiman at every visit. No rotating therapists, no two patients sharing a slot, no handing you to an assistant once the plan is written.

He has run his own clinic in Antelias for years, and also practises at Hôpital Abou Jaoudé in Jal el Dib, where imaging, orthopaedic surgeons, and post-operative follow-up sit in the same building as your rehab.

Consultations are in English, Arabic, and French.

There are two locations, both in the Metn: the clinic in Antelias, at the Abou Habib Building on Antelias Road, and Hôpital Abou Jaoudé in Jal el Dib. Call before a first visit to confirm which one you're booked into.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes — the clinic works by appointment only. Call 03 814 983 or send a WhatsApp message to the same number to book.

Any imaging or surgical reports you already have. If you're not sure physiotherapy is the right call, phone and ask first — the answer is sometimes no.

What conditions are treated?

Back and neck pain, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, stiff or restricted joints, posture and ergonomic problems, and conditioning to stop injuries recurring.

What languages are consultations in?

English, Arabic, and French.

Is anything offered besides physiotherapy?

Yes — slimming and body contouring, personal training with the clinic's trainers, and martial arts classes run at the clinic by Black Core.
